Job Description

obResponsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through various sales techniques, including cold calling, networking for our Freight Forwarding verticals.
  • To secure business and achieve the given target within time limit.
  • To fulfil the Dead Freight Vessel as per tonnage allocated.
  • Relay customer and market information /competitor's activity to organization.
  • Create long-term, strong, and trusting relationships with customers.
  • Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage sales and service response process, including detailed quotation, RFQ requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, and service recovery (complaints/compliments)
  • Credit control follow up and management.
  • Sourcing of vendors for Door-to-Door services. (Carrier / Feeders / Transporters / Depots etc).
  • Handle sales and marketing related assignments & projects.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.

Preferred Experience:

  • 3–5 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Logistics, or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, shipping documentation, and logistics solutions.
  • Experience in customer acquisition, RFQ handling, and vendor coordination.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Preferably owns a car with a valid driving license.
