We are seeking a driven and strategic Sales Executive - Aviation & Defence to join our team and accelerate our growth across Thailand's Aviation MRO and Defence industries. This role is ideal for a sales professional with deep industry connections, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to develop long-term partnerships with high-level decision makers.
You will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding our customer base, managing distributors/agents, and representing our brand across key industry channels. This is a highly visible role requiring initiative, leadership, and a strong understanding of the Thai MRO and Defence landscapes.
What You Will Do
- Drive sales across the Thai Aviation MRO and Defence industries using value-based strategies while meeting revenue and margin targets.
- Identify, recruit, and manage distributors/agents with proven experience and strong networks in both industries.
- Set objectives, coach, and monitor the performance of distributor/agent sales teams to achieve growth goals.
- Analyse distribution performance and ensure alignment with agreed sales targets.
- Directly pursue new business opportunities and expand our market presence aggressively.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that grows the customer base and delivers profitable results.
- Negotiate commercial terms that maximise value for the company while securing strong customer partnerships.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision makers by understanding their needs and responding proactively.
- Actively network within the Aviation and Defence sectors and represent the company at relevant industry events.
- Stay updated on MRO market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Build an understanding of Defence agency structures, key influencers, and internal processes to navigate opportunities effectively.
- Collaborate closely with the supply chain team to ensure efficient production, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Provide detailed sales, revenue, margin, and market visit reports to management with insights on performance and opportunities.
- Work closely with other subsidiaries to share best practices and strengthen cross-regional collaboration.
- Undertake additional assignments from the Director, Aviation & Defence as required.
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience in Aviation MRO, Defence, Aerospace, or related industries in Thailand.
- Experience working with distributors/agents and managing sales performance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver results.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to build strong customer relationships.
- Ability to travel domestically for client visits, industry events, and distributor management.
