Job Description
As Sales Executive, you will play a key role in driving the success of our sales and marketing initiatives, aligned with our strategy to deliver revenue targets and enhance brand image.
Responsibilities
• Provide a supportive role for the Commercial Team and assist in implementing the sales strategy as set by the DOS and DOSM.
• Respond effectively and efficiently to all incoming sales enquiries, with tailor-made proposals and follow-up with all enquiries.
• Active distribution of product information creating awareness in the markets and business segments of new and existing clients through a proactive approach.
• Participates in planning and realization of sales campaigns together with the Director of Sales within defined market segments.
• Conduct site inspections with clients and agents and assist with planning of familiarization trips
• Develop and maintain contact with professional bodies and potential clients through attendance at networking and promotional events.
• Record the progress of all enquiries and translate into a monthly reports, including sources of business trends, enquiry conversion rates, future predicted sales and other reports as directed by the DOS.
• Prepare FIT agreements and maintain relationships with Key accounts.
• Maintain all commercial systems, including but not limited to Cvent and SalesForce.
• Strive to achieve upselling/cross selling goals
• Liaise to the other operational departments for any arrangements necessary for clients and guests
Requirements
• Minimum two years, previous experience in a five-star property.
• Have a thorough knowledge of the PMS systems, such as OperaCloud, SalesForce and others
• Knowledge in Wholesale, Travel Industry, MIC and Catering sales.
• Ability and understanding of the market and competition.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Photoshop.
• Strong persuasive communication, negotiation, problem solving and resilience skills
