Job brief
The Retail Sales Executive is responsible for leasing and selling retail properties by sourcing new retail spaces, working closely with landlords and tenants, and managing the full leasing process from inquiry to deal closure. The role focuses on retail spaces such as shopping malls, community malls, and high-street units.
Responsibilities
- Source new retail leasing and sales opportunities (shopping malls, community malls, high-street units)
- Inspect retail properties and gather full details including rental rates, size, location, foot traffic, availability, and landlord contacts
- Maintain accurate property listings and coordinate with internal database systems
- Build and maintain a strong tenant database including retail brands, F&B operators, and franchise businesses
- Develop in-depth knowledge of retail tenants, brand positioning, expansion plans, and space requirements
- Proactively match suitable retail spaces with tenant needs based on concept, target market, and budget
- Liaise with tenants to understand their business requirements and expansion strategies
- Arrange and conduct property viewings and site inspections
- Provide professional advice on retail locations, catchment areas, and consumer traffic
- Negotiate leasing and sales terms between landlords and tenants
- Prepare and coordinate lease agreements, documentation, and closing processes
- Support clients throughout transactions including deposits and contract execution
- Build strong relationships with landlords, developers, shopping mall operators, and tenants
- Monitor retail market trends, competitor activity, and new brand entries
- Identify opportunities for sole agency retail projects and support business development initiatives
- Prepare weekly reports on deals, tenant pipeline, and new opportunities
Requirements
- Thai nationality
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- 1–3 years experience in retail, leasing, or real estate
- Strong knowledge of retail tenants/brands (fashion, F&B, lifestyle, etc.)
- Experience managing or working with tenant databases is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
- Understanding of retail leasing and commercial property is preferred
- Proactive, target-driven, and able to build strong client relationships
