About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Freight Forwarding Sales Manager to join our growing team in Bangkok. This is a key business development role focused on acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and driving sustainable revenue growth within Thailand's logistics and freight forwarding sector.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in international logistics sales, be highly target-oriented, and capable of working independently within a fast-moving global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new business across air, sea, and road freight services.
- Identify and convert new client opportunities within import/export, manufacturing, trading, and logistics sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and pricing in collaboration with operations and management teams.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Report on market trends, competitor activity, and pricing intelligence to support management strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the Thailand operations team and global offices to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics or freight forwarding sales.
- Strong understanding of FCL, LCL, Air Freight, and Project Cargo sales.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in Thai & English, (Dutch an advantage)
- Experience working with CRM systems and pipeline reporting preferred.
