We Are Hiring: Sales Manager – Automotive, SEA

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Manager – Automotive (SEA) to lead our market segment development, strengthen our customer engagement, and drive sustainable growth across Southeast Asia. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales Planning
- Develop and propose short and midterm plans, including Sales and Business development for Automotive segment.
- Define strategic objectives and align KPIs with regional stakeholders.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and market segment planning.
2. Business Development
- Lead the development and execution of market and sales strategies for the Automotive segment.
- Identify new business opportunities and growth potential within the region.
- Collaborate with crossborder teams and key account leaders to support regional initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal functions—marketing, technical, and product management—to deliver valueadded solutions to customers.
- Build and expand professional networks across Southeast Asia.
3. Sales Leadership & Management
- Monitor key performance indicators and ensure achievement of sales and financial targets.
- Guide sales teams in building strong project pipelines and securing timely project closure.
- Implement structured customer engagement and visit strategies.
- Develop pricing strategies in collaboration with SEA management team and regional teams.
- Support key account owners and maintain strategic relationships with major customers.
- Strengthen customer penetration and identify optimal sales channels.
- Ensure effective use of sales tools across the sales cycle.
4. Reporting & Operational Excellence
- Provide proactive reporting on issues affecting performance or operations.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and project status updates.
- Utilize CRM tools to monitor and record sales activities, customer visits, project updates, and product net sales information.
5. Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead, motivate, and develop a highly skilled sales team.
- Encourage open communication across levels and functions.
- Ensure the sales team members receives relevant training to perform effectively.
- Support talent development and succession planning across SEA.
- Coach team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong crossborder sales management and team leadership background.
- Direct experience in Automotive OEM/OES sales and key account management.
- Solid understanding of management reporting and business financial KPIs.
