Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager, eCommerce

Department: Sales eCommerce

Job Purpose:

As the National Sales Manager, eCommerce, you will lead and drive direct sales strategies for digital channels, ensuring achievement of sales volume and profitability targets for Galderma's eCommerce business. You will manage a team of professionals and oversee the execution of sales initiatives, customer engagement, and stakeholder collaboration to support sustainable growth in the digital marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement national eCommerce sales strategies and promotional activities aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead the execution of direct sales practices, ensuring a robust pipeline of eCommerce opportunities.
  • Monitor and revise lead generation strategies to support customer acquisition and retention.
  • Research, evaluate, and deploy effective sales and pricing plans to meet product/brand targets.
  • Inform customers of new product launches, services, and pricing updates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prioritize, coordinate, and track key eCommerce sales activities and campaigns.
  • Ensure team alignment with corporate policies, sales procedures, and compliance standards.

Team & Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of 2 or more professional-level employees; provide regular performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and manage development plans.
  • Coach team members to improve individual and team performance.
  • Ensure adherence to operational processes, resource planning, and policy development.
  • Manage select budget elements such as overtime, expense tracking, and cost efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Understand and respond to the interests and concerns of customers and key stakeholders.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with internal partners, especially across cross-functional departments.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between sales, marketing, logistics, and digital operations teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 68 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 2 years managing direct reports; eCommerce or digital sales experience preferred.
  • Proven success in driving sales performance through digital platforms and direct customer engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills to solve complex sales and operational issues.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and online retail platforms.
  • Strategic thinking with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and drive transformation in a fast-paced environment.
