Participate in all sales activities of the shows and work in line with the sales and marketing plan for the assigned territory in order to exceed project revenue and targets
Managing and executing the Sales Process: From database building, cold calling, identifying and following up with sales leads as well as closing and reporting progress
Recommend and implement commercial sales and marketing initiatives to promote the events and conferences to potential and existing exhibitors (nationally and internationally)
Maximize sponsorship sales from existing clients
Maintain an up-to-date pipeline document with accurate forecasting, reporting to management on sales activity and sales results
Develop strong relationships with industry associations and multiplier
The scope of responsibility includes but not limited to: promoting the brand of the show, contracting new business and maximizing revenue for the assigned projects, assisting the Project Manager on other project related tasks
Maintain close communication with partners and industry associations, acquire their new trends
Understand history and current developments of counter-exhibitions, and raise corresponding maximum-beneficial plans
Report directly to the shows Project Manager and department Director
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above
Sales Hunting skills, Sales Aggressive
Good to fluent in verbal and written English
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in exhibitions / MICE industry
Curiosity and self-confidence to learn, improve, and challenge
Cultural intelligence to work in an international team
Ability to multitask and set the right priorities under pressure
