Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Business Overview

Our client operates within the FMCG and household & personal care manufacturing sector, producing a wide range of daily‑use consumer products for both OEM and private‑label partners. The business is supported by an international group with established production capabilities, global supply chain integration, and in‑house R&D.

With growing ambitions in the Thailand market, the organization is focused on building a strong offline sales presence, expanding distribution coverage, and developing long‑term partnerships across traditional trade and key account channels.

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the setup and expansion of offline sales channels in Thailand. This is a high‑impact role responsible for driving market entry and growth from 0 to 1, covering Key Accounts (KA), Traditional Trade (TT), and Distributor networks.

The role requires a commercially driven leader who combines hands‑on channel expertise, team‑building capability, and strategic execution skills, with a strong understanding of Thailand's FMCG landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end development of offline sales channels, including Key Accounts, Traditional Trade, and Distributor management
  • Define and execute sales strategies, annual plans, and go‑to‑market initiatives aligned with business objectives
  • Build, lead, and develop a local sales team, including headcount planning, KPI setting, performance management, and capability development
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key customers and distributors to drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Monitor FMCG market trends, competitive activity, pricing, and consumer behavior to inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective execution and market responsiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of FMCG sales experience, with significant exposure to sales leadership / management roles
  • Proven track record in managing KA, Traditional Trade, and Distributor channels in Thailand
  • Background experience with a leading FMCG multinational or a top‑tier Thai FMCG company (e.g., personal care, food, beverage, household products)
  • Strong people‑management skills, including building and leading teams from the ground up
  • Excellent commercial mindset with strong negotiation and relationship‑management capabilities
  • Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)

Budget: 120,000 THB/monthly basis exclude other benefits
