Job Description

Our client is a leading global food solutions provider who is seeking a strategic and customer-focused Sales Account Manager.
To drive commercial growth across the beverage, confectionery, and sweet categories. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering innovative texture and healthful ingredient solutions, building strong client relationships, and navigating dynamic market trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Account Management & Sales Growth
  • Develop and expand relationships with key accounts in the food and beverage industry.
  • Create and execute account plans aligned with category-specific strategies.
  • Lead pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and customer retention efforts.
  • Customer Engagement & Technical Collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, R&D, and innovation to co-develop tailored solutions.
  • Organise and lead customer-facing events such as roadshows, presentations, and trade exhibitions.
  • Provide consultative support throughout product development and commercialisation.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive activity.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to innovation pipelines.
  • Support targeted marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and project status using CRM tools.
  • Track pipeline performance, conversion rates, and demand forecasts.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor&aposs degree in Food Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in food ingredient sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align client goals with business objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Collaborative and adaptable across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented problem solver.
