We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic sales professional to develop high-impact partnerships, unlock new market opportunities, and lead revenue growth initiatives across our portfolio. Key Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth and Business Expansion
- Develop and execute sales strategies for the MICE and Wholesale segments to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and strategic channels to accelerate growth.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline while ensuring sustainable revenue generation across key accounts.
Account and Partnership Management
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with corporate clients, travel management companies, destination management companies (DMCs), event organizers, wholesalers, and industry partners.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and oversee account strategies to maximize long-term value and revenue contribution.
- Represent Ascott at industry events, trade exhibitions, and networking platforms to elevate brand presence and business opportunities.
Market Intelligence
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and industry developments to inform commercial strategies.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and sales planning activities for the MICE and Wholesale segments.
- Monitor sales performance and implement data-driven actions to optimize conversion, productivity, and profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Revenue Management, Operations, Marketing, and property leadership teams to align commercial priorities and enhance business performance.
- Lead site inspections, client engagement initiatives, and promotional campaigns to support customer acquisition and retention.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive hospitality sales experience, including leadership responsibility within MICE, wholesale, corporate or group sales.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, business development, and key account management success.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and sales strategy development.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to translate market insights into commercial outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting systems.
