My client is looking for an experienced sales professional to drive business growth in the utility-scale solar market across Thailand. This role focuses on expanding market presence, building strategic partnerships, and securing large-scale ground-mounted project opportunities. The position also requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution from planning to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts within the assigned territory and identify new opportunities within the utility-scale segment.
- Support local marketing initiatives and oversee activities that strengthen the company's brand presence in the region.
- Conduct ongoing research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and policy updates within the solar sector.
- Analyse customer needs and market conditions to help refine sales strategies and propose actionable improvements.
- Develop strong relationships with developers, EPC companies, utilities, and major industry stakeholders.
- Identify major project opportunities and lead the sales process from prospecting to contract closure.
- Work with regional teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and execution plans.
- Provide input on commercial strategies and ensure adherence to internal policies and guidelines.
- Support contract evaluation, pricing discussions, and negotiations to ensure profitable outcomes.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and planning teams to align customer requirements with internal capabilities.
- Ensure smooth communication across departments to support timely product delivery and project execution.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in solar or other industries involving long sales cycles or complex project sales.
- Proven track record in developing new business, managing key accounts, and delivering revenue targets.
- Strong industry connections and familiarity with the utility-scale renewable energy ecosystem is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
