Responsible for developing pipelines and closing projects selling power contracts into the top Commercial & Industrial customers.
Profile of Candidate:
Minimum 5 years experience in sales/business development roles, preferably with at least 2 years in solar/energy industry
Highly independent, proactive and self-motivated under a variety of challenging circumstances
Good customer relationship management with knowledge of using CRM tools and sales processes
Experienced in contract negotiations and familiarity with technical, commercial, legal & compliance terms
Ability to deal with a range of organizations from privately owned smaller enterprises to large multi-national corporations.
Excellent communication skills and coupled with a dynamic approach to sales
English is the working language but being multilingual will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze the market including the identification of customers and market opportunities
Identify and target strategic clients and projects, grow a pipeline of Distributed Generation opportunities, establish long-term & trustful relationships with customers.
Identify effective ways to connect directly with customers at various levels ranging from operations to senior management (C-suite level) to build long-term relationships and value.
Develop a professional network to ensure that the company is being recommended and introduced to strategic opportunities
Meet with clients to present and negotiate high-value contracts and help bring them to a close.
Grow the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) portfolio, including but not limited to marketing, origination, sales and service in the local market.
Document customer activities and communication, maintain entries in CRM and other sales management tools including investment dossiers.
Coordinate with pre-sales, project, technical & asset management team to effectively implement project plans and achieve objectives.

Must acquire a good knowledge of companys Distributed Generation offerings
Develop an understanding of both local and regional competitors. Constantly changing technical evolutions, implementing continuous performance improvement processes to constantly remain competitive in the moving business landscape.
Strategies independent of prices have to be constantly developed to deliver while protecting value.
Required to stay nimble and adapt to the evolving regulatory environment.
Operate in partnership with the Group affiliates to ensure consistent approach to customers, using OneTotal structure, coordinated communications & leveraging opportunities within the group.
This position will be home based and reporting to Sales Director.
