Role Description The Sales Manager – PSF (Personal Sales Force) Channel will lead and manage sales activities within the PSF channel, focusing on sourcing new business, driving revenue growth, and meeting sales targets for Bajaj Life products. This full-time, on-site role based in Noida involves recruiting, training, and mentoring insurance consultants, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to company processes and compliance standards. The Sales Manager will collaborate with regional and branch leadership to develop and execute channel-specific sales strategies, leverage local market opportunities, and optimize distribution effectiveness. Day-to-day responsibilities include pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting, along with conducting regular field visits, sales reviews, and customer interactions to strengthen relationships and improve conversion. The role also requires close coordination with operations, marketing, and product teams to support initiatives, resolve issues quickly, and maintain a high level of service quality.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated sales and business development skills, including target achievement, pipeline management, and revenue growth in insurance or financial services.
  • Experience in channel management, particularly handling a personal sales force or agency network, with strong team leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills for working with distributors, consultants, branch teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Solid understanding of life insurance products (ULIPs, term plans, savings, and retirement solutions) and the regulatory environment.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable with sales analytics, performance dashboards, and forecasting tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Graduate degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree or MBA in Sales/Marketing or Finance is an advantage.
