Position Overview
Set Sail AI is seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager (Thailand Expansion) to lead our market entry, drive B2B sales, and build brand presence in Thailand for our AI and SaaS products. This role blends strategic planning, hands-on execution, and team leadership, with direct responsibility for revenue growth and local go-to-market success.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement robust sales and marketing strategies to penetrate and expand our presence in the Thailand market. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
- Sales & Channel Development: Establish and manage effective sales and distribution channels in the Thailand market. Devise and execute targeted promotional campaigns and marketing activities to enhance brand visibility and drive sales growth.
- Operational Excellence & Transformation: Lead operational improvements within the sales and marketing functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the Thailand market.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong enterprise pipeline, forecast accurately, and drive opportunities to successful closure.
- Localized Campaign Execution: Design and implement integrated sales and marketing campaigns (events, webinars, digital campaigns, partner co-marketing) tailored to Thai audiences.
- Content & Messaging: Localize value propositions, case studies, and sales assets for decision-makers across key sectors (e.g., retail, hospitality, banking, telecom, manufacturing).
- Channel Partnerships: Establish and manage relationships with local partners, resellers, and system integrators to expand reach and co-sell opportunities.
- Partnership & Community Development:
- Build and scale strategic partnership and community programs to drive brand advocacy, partner engagement, and ecosystem growth for our SaaS products.
- Collaborate with key industry associations, innovation hubs, and tech communities to raise visibility and create co-marketing opportunities.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key sales and marketing KPIs (pipeline, conversion, campaign ROI) and deliver insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Market Insights: Gather market feedback and competitive intelligence to shape product roadmap and regional strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or sales & marketingpreferably within SaaS, enterprise software, AI, or digital transformation.
- Proven success in closing enterprise deals and managing strategic accounts in Thailand or across ASEAN.
- Solid understanding of SaaS business models, solution-based selling, and enterprise procurement processes.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing partnership and community programs for SaaS or enterprise technology products.
- Skilled in digital and offline marketing execution with measurable business impact.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with C-level stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, lean organization.
