Sales Manager (Freight Forwarding)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the logistics business in Thailand and globally.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding, Warehousing, and Supply Chain.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Analyze customer needs and provide tailored logistics solutions, including Air & Sea Freight, Cross-border Logistics, and Project Cargo.
- Drive sales performance to achieve targets while preparing reports and market analysis to refine sales strategies.
- Negotiate pricing and service terms with transport service providers to secure competitive rates.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to explore and develop business opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to expand networks and business prospects.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in the logistics industry, with at least 10 years in Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea Freight focus).
- Proven Business Development and Sales Hunting skills with a strong ability to close high-value deals.
- Expertise in Bidding, Quotation Analysis, and Pricing Strategy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations and international trade compliance.
- Fluent in English or Chinese
Sales (Hunter) Contract Logistics (CL)
Key Responsibilities (R&R):
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Contract Logistics (Warehouse Management & Transportation Services).
- Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting, cold calling, client visits, solution presentation, proposal preparation, to closing deals.
- Analyze customer requirements, design tailored solutions and work closely with the operation team to ensure feasibility and competitiveness.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects in line with company strategy.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and business analysis for management review.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and potential upselling.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitors activities, and market intelligence to identify opportunities and risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of proven sales experience in Contract Logistics / Warehouse & Transportation Solutions.
- Strong hunter mindset with a track record of successfully closing new business deals.
- Excellent knowledge of logistics, warehouse management, distribution, and transportation operations.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills (both Thai & English).
- Established network and connections with key decision-makers in target industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, FMCG, e-commerce).
- Ability to work independently with high motivation and resilience.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
LMD (Last-Mile Delivery)
Job description
- Define, monitor, and report on performance KPIs such as on-time delivery rate, cost per delivery, first-appointment success.
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentation materials for internal management, client meetings, and corporate headquarters
- Manage staffing, train, optimize workforce based on volume forecasts
- Oversee and maintain a pool of delivery vendor partners
- Conduct regular vendor/customer meetings, performance reviews, and ensure accountability for SLAs
- Produce meeting materials and reports for both client firms and corporate HQ, communicate delivery status, risks, proposals, and mitigations
- Lead settlement, invoicing, cost reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial issue resolution and reporting
- Oversee daily delivery operations: route planning, real-time monitoring, resolving delays, handling exceptions and incidents
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, business, or related field (preferred)
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in last-mile delivery/e-commerce operations
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data and derive insights
- Excellent problem-solving skills, decision-making, and crisis management
- Strong communication skills, and driving process changes and continuous improvement
- Candidates have full working rights for Thailand.
- Thai & Business English language skill (oral and written) is required.
