Sales Representative, OTC (North)
Responsibilities
- Manage the customer as a key stakeholder, achieving sales targets with a controllable trade spend
- Deliver on sales targets as per agreed KPI's by pro-actively closing sales
- Develop new drug stores and provide consulting services to pharmacists and customers
- Respond to customer needs and queries and build relationship with customers
- Maintain and expand your relationship with existing and potential accounts
- Propose the existing and newly launched assigned products to the assigned channel for drug listing purpose
- Provide sales support services to the assigned customers, eg. returning expired products, delivery of product samples, upon request
- Establish strong relationship with pharmacist to encourage the use of company's products
- Submit accurate daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly reports on time
- Develop new customers in territory
- Maintain customer data, sales calls, and other sales data with ongoing update in database
- Collect and analyze sales data both internal to develop sales plan
- Set up the requirement & allocation plans for promotional materials & samples for assigned territories
- Make regular customer visits within the appropriate geography or channel, frequency of visit as determined by the Field Sales Manager
- Optimize the distribution, merchandising, pricing and promotions of our products in accordance with the 4P objectives
- Makes regular customer visits to individual stores/retail outlets to strengthen relationship and suggest sales order
- Ensure customer orders are handled through all processes needed, follow up order, product delivery and product return
- Develop & maintain sound mutually beneficial trade relationship
- Analyze the territory/market's potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customer value to the organization
- Provide regular report of sales performance, individual performance and sales forecast to the supervisor
Requirements
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any other related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in OTC products
- Experience as sales/key account executive in Pharmaceutical market would be a plus
- Preferably with working experience in Key Chain Pharmacies or OTC
- Proven track record in building strong relationships with drug chain or supermarket channels, some trade marketing experience is preferred
- Strong planning, analytical with logical thinking
- Required pre-requisites skills/experience
- Can work independently, but has good team spirit
- Result oriented: drive for success and achieving objectives
