Key Responsibilities
- Achieve daily and monthly sales activity targets and drive revenue growth for the Hotel.
- Develop new business leads, identify key account opportunities and grow assigned market segments.
- Solicit, qualify and manage corporate, group and MICE accounts through sales calls, site inspections, client meetings, networking and written communication.
- Plan and conduct regular site inspections, entertainment meetings and FAM trips to showcase the Hotel and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, travel partners and industry stakeholders.
- Represent the Hotel at client events, community business events, trade shows and sales trips to increase market visibility.
- Up-sell and cross-sell Hotel facilities, services and experiences to maximise total revenue.
- Prepare monthly sales action plans, manage account development plans and monitor account performance to achieve financial and non-financial objectives.
- Conduct negotiations, manage contracting and renewals, and ensure the best possible rates and commercial terms for the Hotel.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing on pricing strategy, revenue targets, business planning and market development.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends and business intelligence to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure all account profiles, sales activities, reports and client information are accurately updated in the CRM system.
- Handle guest and client enquiries or complaints professionally and follow through to ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure client expectations are met and VIP arrivals are well managed.
- Support, guide and mentor junior sales colleagues where required.
- Uphold the Hotel's brand standards, policies, values and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum 5–7 years sales experience, preferably in a hospitality, travel or events environment.
- For Senior Sales Manager level, proven experience in managing key accounts, market segments and revenue targets in hotel industry is required.
- Strong track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and influencing skills.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Good market knowledge, commercial awareness and business development skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Opera and CRM systems is preferred.
- Professional, ethical, self-motivated and results-driven.
- A strong team player with leadership potential and the ability to work independently.
