Purpose of the Role
Achieve sales goals by promoting Astellas products and services to physicians and other medical personnel within assigned territory. Educate customers on the use, characteristics, advantages, indicated treatments and all other developments related to promoted products. Professionally represent Astellas in the field and ensure high levels of visibility and customer satisfaction in territory. Maintain effective communication through multi-channels including digital engagement and relationships with key external and internal customers
What you will do includes:
- Effectively communicate, deliver clinical information and key messages to add value to targeted HCPs to start product usage of Astellas products and create advocacy through one-on-one meetings and small group / group presentations, company-approved promotional speaker programs, and other company-approved means.
- Ensure solid performance levels of call and field productivity. Meet Call Plan expectations and achieve territory product sales goals while adhering to all company-defined ethical sales practices, Compliance guidelines, and required promotional regulations.
- Work with Product Manager/Medical Affairs and Business Unit Head to develop a local/account strategy and territory business plan to meet or exceed sales and execution goals.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
- Coordinate promotional efforts with peers across sales teams and other related functions (Marketing, Medical Affairs, etc.).
- Appropriately manage and maintain all company equipments and promotional materials (sales materials, company literature, product samples, eDA, etc.) according to necessary company guidelines.
- Accurately report/submit sales call activities, territory expenses, sales forecasts and written reports and within deadline as aligned with Business Unit Head.
- Successfully complete all company-offered trainings of disease & product knowledge and selling skills including product examinations, and pass the standard as defined by company.
- Additional duties as needed.
- Territory sales achievement vs. target, Sales forecast accuracy and HCPs adoption KPIs.
- KPIs for SFE i.e. Call Rate, Target Coverage, Call Plan Attainment, Veeva Engage.
- Territory activities plan including budget for sales related activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, science, or related fields.
- Disease knowledge, Territory management, logical and strategic thinking.
- Can-do attitude, presentation and good communication, convincing and negotiation skills.
- Good self-control and able to work under pressure.
- High sense of ethics and play to win in the right way.
- Good planning and management skill.
- Strong leadership and good interpersonal skill.
- Good planning and management skill.
- Good knowledge in MS Office, Window based computer and iPad applications.
- Can travel between Bangkok and Upcountry.
- Have own car and driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of experience in ethical sales as product specialist or sale representative
- 1+ years pharmaceutical sales experience in Oncology and Urology
- Experience in portfolio management (handle portfolio with various product life cycle)
- Good command of written and spoken in English.
- Advanced degree of continued education.
