Job Description

Position: Sales Strategic Planning Director

Department: Sales Strategy

Reporting to: Chief Sales Officer (CSO)

Job Purpose

To manage and develop advertising sales strategies and drive New Business initiatives to ensure the organization achieves its total revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define, manage, and develop advertising sales strategies across all channels to align with business goals and the corporate vision.
  • Market Insight: Analyze the market, target groups, and consumer behavior to develop sales methodologies that meet client needs and maximize advertising revenue.
  • Goal Setting: Collaborate with the sales department to establish monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of sales teams to ensure that implemented strategies effectively generate revenue according to targets.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new sales channels for New Business to expand market opportunities and create additional revenue streams.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales and market data to identify trends and strategic opportunities; prepare reports on the impact of sales strategies on total revenue.
  • Other Duties: Execute other assignments as designated by supervisors to support the objectives of the position.

Performance Expectations

  • Key Indicator: Achieve overall company revenue targets as defined annually.

Stakeholder Relationships

  • Internal: Collaborate with all departments within the organization.
  • External: Engage with clients, business partners, and both public and private sector organizations.

Job Specifications (Requirements)

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in advertising sales management or related industries.
  • Strategy & Leadership: Proven ability to develop sales strategies and lead sales teams to hit ambitious targets.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced skills in market analysis and strategic planning.
  • Mindset: Highly creative with strong strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Technical Literacy: Proficient in using technology and sales analytics tools.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Resilience: Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate excellent time management.
