Job Description

Training Program Development

  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive sales training programs tailored to automotive sales teams, including both new hires and existing employees.
  • Create training materials, presentations, and resources that cover various aspects of the automotive sales process, such as customer interactions, sales techniques, product features, and market trends.
  • Develop training content that aligns with the latest automotive industry trends, technologies, and product innovations.

Delivery Of Training

  • Conduct in-person, virtual, and hybrid training sessions for sales teams, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and effective in driving sales performance.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring to sales staff, helping them apply training concepts to real-world customer interactions.
  • Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance data.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with leadership, product specialists, and marketing teams to ensure training content is aligned with business goals and the latest product offerings.
  • Partner with Sales Managers to identify specific challenges faced by sales teams and create customized training solutions.
  • Foster a culture of learning and development within the sales department to drive a high-performance team.

Industry Knowledge & Trend Analysis

  • Stay up to date on automotive industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to ensure training programs are relevant and forward-thinking.
  • Regularly attend automotive industry conferences, workshops, and events to maintain expertise and network with industry professionals.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive or a related field (preferred).
  • Certification in Sales Training or a related field is a plus.

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in automotive sales or sales trainer, experience in designing and delivering training programs, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive products, industry trends, and customer behavior.
  • Experience working with automotive dealership teams, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), or automotive sales organizations.
  • Flexibility to travel to various locations for in-person training sessions or dealership visits as required.
