SAP ABAP Consultant

We are hiring SAP ABAP Consultants at both Associate and Senior Associate levels to join an exciting project based in Bangkok, Thailand with a 6-months contract (possibility to extend). You will play a key role in delivering innovative SAP ABAP solutions, including RAP (Restful ABAP Programming) and SAP Fiori-based applications. The ideal candidate should not only have strong technical expertise but also demonstrate clear understanding of the business context behind implementations.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain ABAP applications using RAP (both Managed & Unmanaged).
• Design and build applications using Fiori Elements, SAPUI5, and Node.js.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Customize and enhance SAP applications in accordance with best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure performance tuning and optimization of SAP custom code.
• Clearly articulate the business rationale behind technical designs and solutions during discussions and interviews.

REQUIREMENT

• 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Proven hands-on experience with:

- RAP Restful ABAP Programming Model (Managed & Unmanaged)

- SAP Fiori Elements

- SAPUI5, Free Style Fiori Development, and Node.js

• Strong understanding of OData services, CDS views, and BOPF framework.
• Experience integrating ABAP with modern UI technologies.
• Ability to present technical solutions in a business-focused context.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
