We are currently supporting a consulting client in identifying an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer to work on implementation and development activities across SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ABAP development within S/4HANA environments, with experience supporting complex enterprise projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements within SAP S/4HANA environments
- Work on RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Develop and maintain OData services, CDS views, and APIs for SAP applications
- Support integration with SAP and non-SAP systems using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and web services
- Perform technical design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP developments
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and S/4HANA migration projects
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
- Strong experience working in SAP S/4HANA environments
- Hands-on development experience with:
- ABAP OO
- CDS Views
- OData Services
- SAP Fiori / UI5 integration
- Enhancement Framework, BAdIs, User Exits
- Experience working with interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs)
- Exposure to RAP / CAP / BTP development is a strong advantage
- Experience supporting implementations, rollouts, or support projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in consulting environments or client-facing projects
- Exposure to SAP integration technologies (CPI, PI/PO) is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
