Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP with RAP Consultant to join our growing SAP practice. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, Restful ABAP Programming (RAP), and SAP S/4HANA implementations. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing SAP applications using modern SAP development frameworks and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP solutions on SAP S/4HANA platform.
- Develop applications using Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
- Build and enhance OData services, CDS Views, AMDPs, and Fiori-enabled applications.
- Work on custom developments, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Perform performance optimization and code reviews for ABAP developments.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Expertise in Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
- Strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Experience with:
- CDS Views
- OData Services
- AMDP
- Enhancements & Interfaces
- Adobe Forms / Smart Forms
- BAPIs, RFCs, IDOCs
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 integration is preferred.
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- SAP certifications in ABAP/S4HANA are an added advantage.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments preferred.
Notice Period
Immediate to 60 Days preferred.
