Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Data & Modeling (SAP DataSphere)
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models and semantic layers
- Integrate data from SAP (S/4HANA, ECC, BW) and non-SAP sources
- Build views, entities, and transformations for analytics consumption
- Ensure data quality, consistency, performance, and governance
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand data requirements
Analytics, Reporting & Planning (SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Develop dashboards, reports, and stories in SAC
- Build and maintain analytic and planning models
- Implement budgeting, forecasting, and planning scenarios
- Enable self-service analytics for business users
- Manage roles, authorizations, and data access
- Provide user support and continuous improvement of analytics solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related fields
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and/or SAP DataSphere is preferred
- Basic understanding of data modeling, reporting, and analytics concepts
- Familiarity with SQL, databases, or data integration concepts is an advantage
- Understanding of business processes (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, etc.) is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders
- Willingness to learn new SAP technologies and adapt to changing requirements
