SAP BTP Developer

1. Job Description :

3-5 years experienced in SAP BTP Developer to design, build, and support solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), with a strong focus on integration and data connectivity with SAP HANA databases. The role involves developing scalable applications, APIs, and services to support business processes and system integrations.

2.Job Responsibilities :

Design and develop applications on SAP BTP using services such as CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), Java, SAP UI5

Build and manage integrations between SAP BTP and SAP HANA (Cloud)

Able to analyze APIs and interface solutions to support data exchange between systems

Optimize data models and queries for performance in SAP HANA

Collaborate with functional teams, integration teams (e.g., SAP CI), and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of BTP applications

Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and ongoing enhancements

Participate in design reviews and contribute to best practices for BTP development

3.Primary skill set :-

Strong experience in SAP BTP development (Cloud environment preferred)

Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Cloud database

Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (Node.js) and SAP UI5/Fiori development

Knowledge of API development

Familiarity SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration / API Management)

Experience in handling data integration and real-time processing scenarios

Understanding of authentication and security concepts in BTP (OAuth etc. / XSUAA / Role-based access using CAP)

Experience with Git-based source control

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment

Ability to debug and troubleshoot cloud applications using logs and monitoring tools

Strong problem-solving and communication skill
