We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for SAP Authorization to design, implement, and govern access controls and BTP-related activities in our SAP S/4HANA landscape. This role is critical to ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient system usage within our corporate, manufacturing and supply chain environment.
You will take end-to-end ownership of SAP security and support SAP BTP and Basis activities from understanding business processes and defining access requirements to hands-on role design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. The position requires a strong balance of technical expertise, governance, and stakeholder collaboration
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain SAP S/4HANA roles by translating business requirements into secure, scalable role structures.
- Manage user access lifecycle activities (provisioning, modification, de-provisioning) in compliance with internal controls and audit standards.
- Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, risk identification cum analysis, remediation, manage user access requests, and emergency access management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and auditors to resolve access issues and address audit findings.
- Troubleshoot authorization issues and conduct root cause analysis across SAP modules.
- Maintain and continuously improve SAP security frameworks in production environments.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including role design standards, access matrices, and procedures.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP security-related incidents and requests.
- Provide SAP Basis support including transport, patch and upgrade, coordination of system refresh activities.
- Support automation and workflow using SAP BTP.
- Ensure ongoing system compliance, stability, and performance related to access controls.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 5 years of SAP security/authorization experience, including at least one S/4HANA implementation or conversion.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- SAP Authorization or SAP GRC Certification is a strong advantage.
- Strong experience with PFCG role design and maintenance, user and role administration, authorization object analysis and troubleshooting, risk analysis, emergency access, access request management and SoD analysis and compliance controls
- Good understanding of SAP SD, EWM/MM, FICO, AM, QM and PP, Concur, Ariba, IBP and the business processes to design effective security roles.
- Experience supporting audit activities, internal controls, and compliance reviews.
- Knowledge of integration environments (e.g., Salesforce & MES) from an authorization impact perspective is an advantage.

- Experience with using SAP BTP for building automation and workflow
- Fluent in English and exposure working across regions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Self-driven, disciplined, and able to work independently while meeting timelines.
The team operates on a two-shift schedule; therefore, candidates must be willing and able to work rotating shifts as required.
