Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW BI_ABAP professional to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP BW/BI and ABAP, with the ability to design and implement data models and reporting solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate with stakeholders and contribute to the overall success of our BI initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data models in SAP BW/BI to support reporting needs.
  • Implement data extraction processes from various source systems using ABAP programming.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of data loads and reporting queries.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Provide support for existing BW systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to BW data models, processes, and reports.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 8-20 years of experience in SAP BW/BI and ABAP programming.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices in SAP BW.
  • Experience with SAP BI reporting tools such as BEx Analyzer, Web Intelligence, or Lumira.
  • Proficiency in ABAP programming specifically for data extraction and transformation.
  • Familiarity with SAP HANA and its integration with BW.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
