Mandatory: SAP BW; Strong experience in SAP BW (7.x/4.x or higher) including modeling, ETL, and reporting. Proficiency in ABAP debugging for issue resolution. Prior involvement in end-to-end upgrade projects with full testing cycles.

Job Description

This role focuses on the technical execution of SAP BW ensuring robust planning, flawless migration, and comprehensive testing. The consultant will be responsible for validating reports, maintaining data integrity, and collaborating with BASIS and functional teams to deliver a stable and optimized BW environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Upgrade Planning & Execution: Lead technical planning, perform pre-/post-upgrade tasks, and ensure system readiness.
• System Copy Planning: Define and execute system copy strategies for development, QA, and production environments.
• End-to-End Testing: Conduct regression testing, functional validation, and performance benchmarking after upgrade/system copy.
• Report Validation: Verify critical reports, dashboards, and queries for accuracy post-upgrade/system copy.
• Data Integrity Checks: Perform reconciliation and consistency checks across environments.
• Performance Benchmarking: Monitor and optimize query performance, cube loads, and ETL processes.
• Transport Management: Support transport requests and environment synchronization during upgrade/copy.
• Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, test scripts, and validation reports.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with BASIS, functional teams, and business users to ensure smooth execution.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in SAP BW (7.x/4.x or higher) including modeling, ETL, and reporting.
• Proficiency in ABAP debugging for issue resolution.
• Familiarity with SAP BO universe, Reports & publications (I.e. Nice to have)
• Experience in test planning and execution for large-scale upgrades.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Prior involvement in end-to-end upgrade projects with full testing cycles.

Roles & Responsibilities

Must be willing to work in shift: 6:30 PM to 03:30 PM (all hours in IST), if there is any Emergency Support, he should be willing to extend and Provide Required Support.

He Should Support and Work on SAP BW, based on the need he should be willing to Provide Support for Functional Consultant MM, SD and Other Modules.

Ensure Project Guidelines and follow accordingly.
