Job Role - SAP FICO Consultant

Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP FICO modules including Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO)
- Handle end-to-end financial processes such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Cost Controlling
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
- Perform system configuration and customization based on business needs
- Support SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and enhancement projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, etc.) for integration requirements
- Participate in system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Identify and resolve issues related to financial processes and SAP system functionality
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Work with technical teams on RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies
- Provide post-go-live support and end-user training
- Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, IT, or related field
- Strong experience in SAP FICO configuration and support
- In-depth knowledge of:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Internal Orders and Product Costing
- Experience with integration points between FICO and other modules (MM, SD, PP)
- Hands-on experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation project
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
