Upstream BCoE Systems Advisor (SAP FI)
We are seeking an experienced Upstream BCoE Systems Advisor to support global Oil & Gas operations. This role provides functional leadership across SAP Financial systems, drives global standardization, and supports affiliates through business change, regulatory requirements, and system lifecycle activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as SME for Upstream financial processes: SAP FI, PSA, JVA, Farm-In/Farm-Out, and Month-End Close (MEC/QEC/YEC)
- Drive global alignment of Upstream ERP systems and reduce country-specific customizations
- Support regulatory, organizational, and business changes across Upstream affiliates
- Coordinate system and process changes related to reorganizations and asset acquisitions/divestments
- Support global ERP initiatives impacting Upstream operations
- Partner with IT and system architects on new implementations and issue resolution
- Provide escalation support for complex financial close issues
- Support ERP controls, training materials, and knowledge documentation
- Advise on end-of-life systems, data archiving, and decommissioning strategies
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong Upstream Oil & Gas systems experience
- Deep knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (ECC 6.0)
- Hands-on experience with PSA, JVA, FI/FO, and financial close processes
- Experience supporting global, multi-affiliate ERP environments
- Ability to balance standardization with business needs
Certifications is a plus.
- SAP Certified Financial Accounting (ECC 6.0, 2016)
- SAP Certified High Availability and Disaster Recovery
