Job Description

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant ( HCM )

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant to support implementation, integration, and optimization initiatives related to Employee Central (EC) and Workforce Registry (WFR). The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to provide functional and technical expertise, ensure successful data migration activities, and support seamless integration between SAP SuccessFactors and other enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

Functional & Technical Consulting

  • Review, analyze, and troubleshoot issues related to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Provide hands-on configuration, consultation, and best-practice recommendations for Employee Central and Workforce Registry solutions.
  • Support organization structure setup and maintenance within Employee Central.
  • Configure and maintain Employee Central functionality, business rules, workflows, and role-based permissions.

Data Migration & Integration

  • Analyze, review, and provide consultation on data mapping and data migration activities.
  • Investigate data-related issues and implement corrective solutions.
  • Support data validation, cleansing, transformation, and migration activities.
  • Develop and maintain integration workflows using SAP CPI, BIB (Business Integration Builder), ALE/IDoc, or similar technologies.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Employee Central and:
  • SuccessFactors Recruiting
  • SuccessFactors Learning
  • Performance Management
  • Workforce Registry (WFR)
  • Third-party systems

Testing & Support

  • Execute system integration testing, parallel testing, end-to-end testing, and scenario-based testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration and integration issues.
  • Participate in global project and support meetings.
  • Support business users throughout implementation and enhancement projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in SAP HCM
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation and/or support.
  • Proven experience in:
  • Employee Central functionality and configuration
  • SAP data migration
  • Data mapping
  • Organization structure setup and maintenance

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of SAP HR data models.
  • Deep knowledge of Employee Central configuration and integration points.
  • Experience with Business Rules, Workflows, and Role-Based Permissions (RBP).
  • Familiarity with Integration Center, APIs, and middleware solutions such as SAP CPI.
  • Experience with reporting solutions such as People Analytics or Advanced Reporting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and configuration issues.

Workforce Registry (WFR) Experience (Preferred)

  • Understanding of Workforce Registry data requirements, compliance standards, and reporting mandates.
  • Experience implementing custom WFR solutions, including:
  • Custom fields and extended data structures
  • Complex data mapping and transformation logic
  • Experience optimizing and troubleshooting customized WFR processes.
  • Familiarity with workforce registry compliance requirements and industry best practices.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Learning
  • SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors integration
  • SAP ECC6 ALE/IDoc Integration
