We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP Lead / Senior Consultant with strong expertise in manufacturing planning and execution within the Automotive industry. The role will involve leading and/or contributing as a key team member in S/4HANA implementations, with a focus on PP, QM, and tight integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Key Responsibilities
- Act as PP Lead or Senior Team Member in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
- Drive end-to-end Production Planning (PP) solution design and deployment
- Lead business workshops and translate manufacturing requirements into SAP solutions
- Configure and support core PP processes including:
- Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Versions)
- Demand Management and MRP
- Production Orders and Process Orders
- Capacity Planning and Scheduling
- Configure and support Quality Management (QM) processes in manufacturing
- Design and support PPQM integration (inspection planning, in-process and goods receipt inspections)
- Work closely with technical teams to support SAPMES integration, including:
- Production confirmations
- Shop floor data collection
- Quality results recording
- Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, and FI/CO modules
- Support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT), cutover, and go-live
- Provide postgo-live support and continuous improvement
- Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership where required
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PP implementations
- Proven experience in the Automotive manufacturing domain
- In-depth knowledge of:
- SAP PP manufacturing processes
- MRP and capacity planning
- Production order lifecycle
- SAP QM in manufacturing environments
- Experience with MES integration (e.g., shop floor systems, 3rd-party MES tools)
- Experience working as PP Lead or senior team member in large SAP programs
- Strong understanding of cross-module integration (MM, QM, FI/CO)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
