Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate could be from an IT or consulting background, with a strong foundation in managing SAP projects or an SAP consultant looking to transition into project management, particularly with expertise in SAP FICO. This role is pivotal in managing existing projects and contributing to presales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the delivery of SAP projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Act as a liaison between the project team and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
- Participate in presales activities, including proposals, presentations, and demonstrations to potential clients.
- Utilize knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules to guide project decisions and implementations.
- Manage and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Oversee user management, ensuring effective training, support, and satisfaction.
- Continually assess project risks and opportunities, implementing proactive strategies to mitigate challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with overall business goals.
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager or SAP Consultant transitioning into project management, with a strong preference for backgrounds in SAP FICO.
- Experience in managing SAP projects, demonstrating the ability to lead projects to successful completion.
- Knowledge of SAP FI and/or CO modules is highly preferable.
- Experience in presales activities, including developing proposals and conducting presentations, is desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing users and project teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or SAP-specific training are advantageous.
