Position: Science and Nature Expert
Type:Contract
Compensation:$40$80/hour
Location:Remote
Commitment:1040 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Author realistic science prompts in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Earth Science, Ecology, and related disciplines.
- Review and revise AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, methodological soundness, and adherence to scientific standards.
- Write high-quality human-authored gold responses for complex, data-driven, or multi-step scientific questions.
- Create controlled prompt variations to test subtle differences in experimental setup, assumptions, and theoretical framing.
- Evaluate outputs across different tones and instruction constraints.
- Identify model failure cases involving flawed reasoning, misuse of scientific principles, or unsupported claims.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Earth Science).
- 2+ years of professional work experience in scientific research, laboratory work, field research, or science communication.
- Active professional familiarity with scientific practice in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.
- Strong understanding of experimental design, data interpretation, and discipline-specific methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills in the target language.
- Ability to exercise careful, evidence-based editorial judgment.
