Job Description

Job Summary

The SEO Executive will be responsible for implementing on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility, organic traffic, and search engine rankings. The role involves keyword research, website audits, competitor analysis, performance monitoring, and collaborating with content and development teams to optimize websites in line with SEO best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute on-page SEO activities as assigned by the Project Manager or Team Lead.
  • Optimize websites to improve organic search rankings and drive quality traffic.
  • Perform comprehensive website audits to identify technical and on-page SEO opportunities.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis.
  • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and other on-page elements.
  • Implement and monitor off-page SEO strategies, including link-building activities.
  • Use SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms for research and performance analysis.
  • Monitor website performance, crawl errors, indexing issues, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Track keyword rankings, website traffic, and other SEO performance metrics.
  • Prepare and submit monthly SEO performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with the Content, Development, and Design teams to implement SEO recommendations effectively.
  • Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, IT, Mass Media, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in SEO (Freshers with SEO certification may also be considered).
  • Good understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools.
  • Knowledge of keyword research, website audits, and competitor analysis.
  • Familiarity with HTML, WordPress, and CMS platforms is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
