On-site Job role on Power Plant (Free Accommodation / Transportation / 48 Annual Leave Days)

Company Description

Hongsa Power Company Limited (HPC) is a power generation company established in 2009 by Banpu Power Limited (BPP), Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding Public Company Limited (RATCH), and LHSE to develop and operate a 1,878 MW lignite mine mouth power plant. Upon its scheduled completion in 2016, the Hongsa Power Plant will become a highest-capacity power plant, providing a sustainable source of energy.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Section Manager - Sustainability Development at the Hongsa Power Plant . Leads and implements sustainability and ESG initiatives to support responsible business operations, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and drive long-term environmental and social value for the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

To lead, analyze, and continuously improve the organization's sustainability agenda by translating ESG strategy into actionable plans, providing sustainability and ESG advice to management, and initiating initiatives that strengthen regulatory compliance, stakeholder confidence, and long-term organizational sustainability.

1. Sustainability Reporting & Governance

  • Govern sustainability and ESG data collection, consolidation, validation, and management across functions.
  • Ensure sustainability reports, ESG disclosures, and submissions are accurate, timely, consistent, and aligned with applicable standards, regulations, and frameworks.
  • Analyze sustainability and ESG performance data to identify trends, risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities, and report key insights to management.
  • Monitor changes in sustainability and ESG-related regulations, standards, assessment criteria, and global trends, and assess implications for the organization.

2. Sustainability Strategy

  • Lead the development, execution, monitoring, and periodic review of the company's sustainability strategy, roadmaps, and targets in alignment with corporate strategy and ESG objectives.
  • Initiate, prioritize, and oversee sustainability improvement initiatives and projects to deliver measurable environmental, social, and governance outcomes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives using data-driven analysis and recommend corrective actions or enhancements, as appropriate.

3.Sustainability & ESG Communications

  • Act as an internal advisor to management and cross-functional teams on sustainability and ESG-related matters.
  • Lead sustainability communication, awareness, training, and engagement activities to strengthen organizational sustainability capability and culture.
  • Serve as a key point of coordination with external stakeholders on sustainability-related matters, as assigned.
