Responsibilities
- Contribute security specific guidance and verification to target solution architecture for new/ongoing projects as part of the Enterprise Architect function, ensuring security control objectives in the control framework is applied to the new/ongoing projects
- Lead the engagement and assessment of solutions with security vendors for solution architecture and design activities.
- Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
- Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
- Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in security architecture design and implementation
- Advanced IT security certifications may be advantageous.
- A strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer operating and software programs.
- The ability to interact with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and races.
- Excellent teaching, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- You should have expertise in security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), network access controls, and network segmentation.
- You must be experienced with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and UNIX.
- Network security architecture and its development are both important to understand.
- DNS security principles such as routing, authentication, VPN, proxy services, and DDOS mitigation technology are all covered.
- An understanding of the ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks are required.
- Third-party auditing skills and cloud risk assessment methodologies.
