We are looking for a Security Engineer to design and implement robust security controls for our banking platforms. This role involves working closely with cross-functional squads to ensure secure application and infrastructure development, aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Controls Architecture Implementation
- Design and implement program-level security controls architecture.
- Identify existing bank security tools (e.g., DDoS protection, Key Management tools) and assess the need for new tools.
- Develop and integrate security controls within the program architecture to mitigate vulnerabilities and strengthen overall security.
- Security Squad-Level Implementation Support
- Collaborate with development squads to provide engineering expertise during security threat modeling at squad journey levels.
- Promote secure coding practices and integrate security best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Assist in remediation of vulnerabilities discovered during testing, analyze threats, and propose effective solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of Security Principles, including identity & access management, data security, cryptography, code security, and infrastructure protection.
- Proven experience in banking security architecture for major retail digital banking platforms and addressing emerging threats with appropriate controls.
- Familiarity with Security Frameworks and Standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP, and knowledge of banking regulations impacting application security.
- Solid knowledge of Network and Infrastructure Security, including network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and other protective measures.
- Hands-on engineering experience in implementing security controls architecture and supporting secure development practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional squads.
