Job Summary
BDC is looking for an experienced Security Manager to be based in our Chonburi Data Centre. This key role will ensure physical safety of all visitors, employees and customers to the Company's facilities and the security of property and assets owned by the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all physical security operations for Bridge Data Centres Thailand, ensuring safety of facilities, visitors, and compliance with company policies and Thai law
- Lead and manage the Security Department, including strategy, planning, and performance
- Responsible to plan and enforce on all security measures and security systems accordingly.
- To implement and manage day-to-day security operations to ensure all entities safety and satisfaction
- Command in responding to any emergency/crisis and high-profile incident/accident on security related matters and strategizing the execution of managing the crisis through the implementation of Emergency Procedure (EP) in order to minimise/mitigate the impact of major/ incidents/ crisis to the employees, environment, company's assets and business and key stakeholders.
- To develop and maintain strong and close relationships with other stakeholders, such as the Property Operations, Critical Operations, and other elite forces in the company.
- Enforcing disciplinary action against Security Team who are involved in any misconduct.
- To build and maintain good relationship with tenants. Ensure that the function maintains high standard of customer service to the tenants.
- To perform any add hoc duties which may be assigned by the company from time to time.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree qualification in any disciplines with minimum 8 years of working experience in Security line of works.
- Proficient in English through all mediums of communication. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.
- Good knowledge of all local laws related to security and safety.
- Proven experience operating as security specialist managing a team of security team.
- Any practicing license related to security would be an added advantage.
- Possesses strong leadership skills and is a team player.
- Thorough understanding of security management obligations, requirements and dynamics.
- Ability to provide security services with a high degree of professional responsibility, accountability and integrity.
