Main Purpose of Job:
As our Security Operations Lead, you'll run day-to-day security operations — leading a team that monitors for threats, responds to incidents, and defends against intrusions around the clock. You'll coordinate response efforts across the business, keep operations running to the service levels the business needs, and mentor your team to grow their skills.
Key Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in security operations, incident response, or intrusion analysis, including experience leading or mentoring a team.
- Knowledgeable in SOC technologies such as SIEM, XDR, and SOAR.
- Hands-on experience with security device installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Well-versed in incident management, problem management, and change management best practices.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and coordinate effectively within a team.
- A can-do attitude — calm under pressure, deliverables-focused, and time-bound.
- Good English proficiency, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Functional or Professional / Business Skills:
- Functional knowledge of SIEM and security data lake platforms, mobile device management, cloud security management, and wireless network/security management.
- Familiar with IT policies, standards, and procedures governing security operations.
- Strong analytical skills — able to assess business needs, develop appropriate technical solutions, and identify opportunities to improve security processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Cybersecurity, IT Security, Operations, Infrastructure, and third-party providers or development teams.
- Skilled at influencing, resolving conflict, and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels.
