Job Summary
SUSTAINABLE SECURITY SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. seeks a Security Operations Manager to lead cybersecurity operations, design security architecture, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with policies and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the organisation's cybersecurity operations to protect information assets and infrastructure
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity architecture and controls to safeguard systems and data
- Monitor security events continuously and respond promptly to cybersecurity incidents to mitigate risks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend effective remediation measures to strengthen security posture
- Perform risk assessments and apply appropriate security controls to reduce exposure to threats
- Develop, update, and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards aligned with best practices
- Administer security technologies including firewalls, endpoint protection, and security monitoring solutions to ensure operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements and regulatory standards
- Prepare detailed security reports and provide actionable recommendations to management for informed decision-making
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and industry best practices to proactively enhance security measures
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or information security
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture, network security, cloud security, and risk management
- Experience in security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Proficient analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (not mandatory but advantageous)
