The Senior Account Manager plays a pivotal role in leading client relationships and managing end-to-end delivery of marketing and production projects. This role requires strategic oversight from briefing to execution, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence at every stage.
Acting as the central point of contact, the Senior Account Manager collaborates closely with internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders to deliver high-impact campaigns across print, POSM, visual merchandising, and premium materials.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end project and campaign delivery, from brief to completion, ensuring high quality, on-time execution, and alignment with specifications and branding guidelines.
- Manage client relationships by understanding needs, providing strategic recommendations, and maintaining consistent communication to build trust and satisfaction.
- Serve as the central contact for all project communications, working collaboratively with internal teams, external vendors, and Project Managers to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Provide technical guidance on print, POSM, visual merchandising, and premium items; oversee procurement and production processes to meet contractual, quality, and timeline requirements.
- Use creativity to solve communication and operational challenges, improve workflows, and address service delivery issues, including identifying and resolving process or system bottlenecks.
- Manage project financials including accurate quoting, monitoring budgets, forecasting results, processing invoices, tracking overdue payments, and ensuring profitability against targets.
- Analyze and report on monthly and quarterly performance metrics, including financial targets, service KPIs, and client satisfaction; contribute to internal and client-facing reporting and presentations.
- Support compliance with internal controls, contracts, and financial procedures, and help address shortfalls or trends with corrective actions to optimize results.
- Act as the escalation point for client issues, ensuring resolution and communicating significant matters to senior stakeholders such as the Account Director.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members (Account Coordinators and Account Managers), while collaborating with the broader Client Services team to align on account planning.
- Foster strong working relationships with client brand teams, suppliers, and cross-market colleagues to support seamless campaign coordination and multi-country execution.
- Measure and respond to client satisfaction levels, track performance against SLAs and KPIs, and take proactive steps to maintain and improve service standards.
- Support the Account Director with team coordination, reporting, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution where needed.
- Continuously seek opportunities to expand service offerings and add value to the client partnership.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- 5+ years previous experience of working in an agency.
- Knowledge of Print, POSM, Digital and Visual merchandising production is preferred
- Experience in beauty or luxury goods industry, in either purchasing or production management would be beneficial
- Detailed oriented, highly organised, have a systematic approach to tasks
- Capable of working in a fast-paced working environment with excellent project and client management skills
- Strong communicator and great teamplayer
The Senior Account Manager will need to be a multi-tasker, be able to use their initiative, and have a problem-solving attitude. This is a role for an outgoing and energetic team player who can also be relied on to operate independently and remain focused under pressure.
