Our client is a logistics group that provides multinational forwarders such as airlines , shipping line warehousing, ecommerce express parcel agency services etc. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Senior Accountant and the position is based in Bangkok Thailand.
Key job responsibilities
- Cover the corporate accounting duties for the firm
- Cover monthly, quarterly and year-end closing and ensure the financial reporting is aligned with accounting standards
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Prepare financial and management reporting
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow and expense
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, audits etc
- Assist in tax filing, statutory reporting, audit
- Assist in some administrative duties such as payroll coordination, employee onboarding documents
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other qualifications
- At least 5 years of corporate accounting experience, logistics industry is an advantage
- Independent whilst a team player
- Detailed-oriented, responsible, motivated
- Good English language skills, good communication skills
- Native Thai language
