Your Impact:
- As a key member of our Bangkok finance team, you will play a critical role in our exciting pre-IPO journey. We need an autonomous and high-integrity professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. Your expertise will be essential in preparing pro forma financial statements, strengthening internal controls, and supporting M&A activities, while collaborating with top-tier auditors, advisors, and brokers.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Financial Close: Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Audit & Compliance: Lead the statutory audit process by preparing detailed supporting schedules, ensuring strict compliance with TFRS and SEC regulations, and serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.
- Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen the internal control environment to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Technical Accounting: Support key strategic projects, including business combinations and the establishment of new legal entities.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior accounting staff by reviewing their work, providing guidance on complex transactions, and fostering professional development.
Your profile:
Strong analytical and technical accounting skills, backed by a Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting. A hands-on, proactive accountant who takes accountability and can effectively prioritize tasks. Minimum of 4 years of experience:- 2+ years within a Big 4 firm.
- 2+ years as a Senior Accountant, including experience leading external financial audits
- Native proficiency in Thai and a strong command of English (required).
- Proven ability to delegate, provide guidance, and review the work of junior staff and business stakeholders.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; adept at managing stressors, ambiguity, and change.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting are essential. Knowledge of Xero is a significant advantage.
