Senior Accounting Manager – US-Listed Manufacturing MNC (Bangkok)

Our client is an established US-listed multinational company within the manufacturing industry with a strong global footprint across multiple regions. Due to continued business growth, they are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to be based in Bangkok to join their regional finance team. This is a high-visibility leadership role within a complex multinational environment, offering the opportunity to work closely with regional stakeholders and contribute to the overall finance strategy.

This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance activities while ensuring strong governance and control standards. The successful candidate will lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, driving performance, engagement, and capability building. In addition, the role plays a key part in strengthening financial governance, improving processes, and supporting broader business decision-making.

You will also manage end-to-end financial reporting, statutory compliance, and tax filings, ensuring adherence to US GAAP and SOX requirements. The role also involves preparing management reports, forecasts, and financial analysis, while partnering with internal and external auditors, tax authorities, and regional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also drive process improvements across GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets, support financial analysis and variance reviews, and contribute to both short- and medium-term financial planning.

Ideally, you hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or CA qualification preferred. You have strong experience in financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance within multinational environments, along with solid knowledge of US GAAP and SOX requirements. Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams is essential. You possess excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels and regions. Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills are required, together with advanced Excel proficiency. Experience with Power BI and a Big 4 background will be considered strong advantages.
