Responsibilities

Operations:

  • Plan, organize, and control daily activities for Receiving, VAS, and Goods Return departments to meet SLA targets.
  • Monitor and verify accuracy of inbound receiving, labeling, and return processes.
  • Coordinate with Inventory, Transportation, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Analyze operational issues and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

People Management

  • Lead and manage team members across departments, ensuring proper task allocation based on skills and workload.
  • Motivate and develop staff through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor team productivity and address performance gaps promptly.
  • Manage work schedules and leave planning to align with operational demands.

Equipment/Safety

  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) for safe and efficient operations.
  • Enforce compliance with safety standards and SOPs across all activities.
  • Report and resolve safety incidents or hazards immediately.
  • Liaise with maintenance teams to keep equipment in optimal condition.

Quality

  • Guarantee labeling accuracy in compliance with FDA and legal requirements.
  • Maintain product quality during receiving and return processes according to company standards.
  • Implement corrective actions for non-compliant products and report to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare quality reports and monitor KPIs for continuous improvement.

Relationships - Customers

  • Continually maintain a professional and courteous relationship with all internal/external customers.
  • Audit operation to ensure service standards are being met.
  • Meet with customers to discuss performance against KPIs.
  • Establish customer relations training programs for all front-line personnel.

Inventory Management

  • Ensure current and accurate inventory control for all products.

Information Technology

  • Ensure the creation of the necessary warehouse information systems to meet company objectives and facilitate the efficient operations of the warehouse.
  • Ensure that necessary warehouse computer software and hardware are provided.
  • Remain knowledgeable regarding changes in hardware and software technology.

Security

  • Ensure the security of the facility, its environment, employees and contents.
  • Conduct regular instruction in good security practices.

Iso

  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with ISO 14001 environmental management and ISO 45001 occupational health & safety standards.
  • Promote and maintain team awareness of ISO requirements, supporting continuous improvement in environmental and safety practices.

Required Business Experience / Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics, International Business Management, Business Administration or any related field.
  • English communication skill.
  • 5 7 years of experience in a distribution environment, managing Warehouse operation, especially DC operations.
  • Effective decision making, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in WMS, SAP, MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • A broad range of management skills is required with particular emphasis on leadership, supervision, motivation, communication, and planning.
