Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Finance to join our Thailand finance team. This role combines core accounting responsibilities with financial planning and analysis, supporting both compliance and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of financial drivers, strong technical accounting knowledge, experience in financial forecasting, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic logistics environment.

Responsibilities:-

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Finance Business Partnering:

  • Lead financial performance analysis against budget, monthly forecast and prior periods, identifying key drivers and variances
  • Support forecast and budget cycles reviews by incorporating operational inputs, historical trends and business drivers into forward-looking projections
  • Partner closely with operations and cross-functional teams to translate financial data into actionable insights, supporting strategic and operational decision-making
  • Prepare management reports and presentations for regional and global leadership, highlighting risks and opportunities

Accounting & Compliance:

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes to optimize working capital, improve cash flow visibility and support financial planning assumptions
  • Coordinate with external auditors on statutory audits and ensuring audit readiness, providing transparent and well-supported financial information
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of statutory tax filings (VAT, CIT, WHT) in compliance with Thai Revenue Department regulations
  • Ensure compliance with GXO's internal controls and accounting policies

Qualifications Summary:-

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or logistics environment.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPD license) in Thailand is mandatory.
  • Experience in Oracle systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint,
  • Experience working with outsourced/shared service teams is a strong advantage.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Skills:

  • Fluency in English and Thai (written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of Thai tax laws, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
