Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting

Role Responsibilities

• Managing GST, TDS , TCS and VAT GL reconciliations, open items clearing and posting adjustment journals.
• Manage and accountable for the General accounting team and ensure that all month end journals related to Tax (both direct & indirect) are passed accurately in the books of accounts
• Ensure smooth month end close as per Diageo India reporting guidelines. Ensure compliance and adherence with all the relevant CARM controls applicable to the financial reporting team.
• Support statutory audit schedule preparation as per external audit team requirement.
• Process standard journals and adhoc journals including provisions, accruals, reclass, recharge, etc. applying business judgement and context
• Proactively suggests improvements/additional control points to build in and takes an active part in the implementation and in the follow up.
• Maintain thorough controls across accounting processes– CARM activity

Qualifications

Experience / skills required:

• University graduate, B Com, CA Inter/ICWAI Inter/MBA,

Experience Required

• 4-6 years of relevant work experience in F&A BPO or any other industry.
• Be able to work in a deadline driven environment.
• Deep understanding of the accounting concepts related to General Accounting, Taxation(GST, VAT, TDS and TCS) month close process, reconciliations and various RTR functions in order to ensure integrational thinking across the teams.
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in SAP.
