Job Description

To build strong analytics, modelling, automation and dashboard capability for leadership and functional decision-making. The role requires deep expertise in advanced Excel, macros, Power BI, data modelling and analytics tools, with ability to convert large datasets into actionable insights.

• Build and maintain advanced Excel-based models, dashboards, trackers and leadership reports.

• Automate manual reporting processes using VBA / Macros, Power Query and Power BI.

• Develop business, financial, workforce, compensation, hiring and scenario models.

• Create interactive Power BI dashboards with data modelling, DAX measures and analytical views.

• Consolidate, cleanse, validate and reconcile large datasets across multiple sources.

• Generate trends, exceptions, insights and recommendations for senior stakeholder reviews.

• Partner with HR, Finance, Procurement, Admin, Projects and Operations teams for analytics requirements.

• Improve reporting governance, version control, confidentiality and data accuracy.

• Expert-level Advanced Excel: complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, slicers, conditional formatting and dynamic arrays.

• Strong hands-on macros / VBA automation experience.

• Excellent command over formulas such as XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, IFERROR, nested IFs, text/date functions and Power Query.

• Strong Power BI capability including dashboard creation, data modelling and DAX.

• Prior experience in modelling: financial modelling, workforce planning, compensation modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis or operational models.

• Ability to handle large datasets with high accuracy, speed and attention to detail.

SQL, Power Platform, Python, Tableau, Qlik, database handling, automation scripts, analytics certifications.

• Good-to-have industry exposure: BFSI, FP&A / finance analytics, Big 4 / consulting, GCC / GBS shared services, telecom / digital infrastructure, or other infrastructure / asset-heavy sectors; IT services background may be considered only where analytics, automation and modelling depth is strong.

Candidate should be hands-on, analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable working with senior stakeholders. Preference for someone who has built models and dashboards independently rather than only preparing routine MIS reports.
